Walking in a winter wonderland

It snowed quite a bit here Friday and Saturday and this time it finally stayed cold enough for the snow to stick around more than a day, so on Sunday we all bundled up in our winter gear and headed out to hike and sled and generally frolic in the snow. I am slowly coming around to the parenting philosophy that there is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing. Once we were all bundled up, we weren’t really that cold, especially if we were running around playing! Clara was overjoyed and giggled her head off watching the boys have a snowball fight and we all had fun sledding (even if the hill we were sledding on wasn’t much of a hill).

Are you getting out to enjoy any winter weather? I’m kind of loving it, but I reserve the right to change my tune after a couple of months of this.
