It’s officially the first day of spring. Does anyone else feel like it’s been a really long winter? We still have snow on the ground here in Colorado Springs and more in the forecast this week but at least today it is warm (~60 degrees) and very sunny!

Because I’m pregnant and I took a bad fall on ice in my first trimester I’m staying off snow and ice as much as I possibly can, so when it snows I end up trapped in my house. Getting out of the snow and being able to enjoy so much time outside made me extra appreciate our recent trip to Florida. And seeing things green and flowering! Getting to wear shorts and sandals and swim everyday was so good for my soul, extra sweet because we were reunited with my parents after not being together since September. I’m looking forward to the end of the snow (if and when it ever comes) and some green on the horizon here in Colorado, but in the meantime here are some sweet pics of my little family enjoying our spring break trip.
