Happy Halloween from 6 ft Away

COVID-19 has canceled a lot of fun this year, but we were determined to figure out way to celebrate Halloween that was safer and still tons of fun.

Since we wanted to avoid face time with people outside of our home, we skipped door to door Trick or Treating and did a small Trunk or Treat that had social distancing and masks and then we turned our attention to giving!

We set up a safer ways to distribute candy to our neighbors via a candy tube, which was just a recycled bar bell shipping tube that we wrapped in black and orange duct tape.

To make things a little more festive from a distance we popped up our copper backdrop frame, a Halloween balloon arch, and some orange lights. Our neighbors loved it and did our kids!

Charlie would shout “More customers are coming” like he was Paul Revere announcing the Red Coats every time he saw another group passing down the street.

We opted to get out of our costumes and into our matching Jack O’ Lantern Family Jams for a classic Halloween night.

After we got too cold and packed it in for the we ordered Taco Bell and watched It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown together.

All in all it was a fabulous Halloween. While the fun does look a little different this year, there is still so much joy.

Hope you and yours had a happy and safe Halloween!
