Day 1 of Halloween Fun
As I shared yesterday our family is celebrating 31 Days of Halloween by reading a Halloween themed book together and eating a festive snack. We have designs on some more elaborate snacks and meals, but the trick to pulling off everyday magic is striking the balance between the simple and the intricate.
We’re kicking this off during a hard and busy week so we’re starting small and easy! We didn’t even have to buy extra supplies. We already had fruit cups and a sharpie so our Day 1 halloween snack was super quick and simple! But don’t be fooled into thinking easy can’t have impact. Our kids were still pumped!
We also broke out some Halloween Jams to kick things off in style for Book 1. The boys chose PJ Masks Save Halloween. They decided Magnus was Cat Boy and Charlie was Gekko and Clara would be Owlet. Much fun was had (even if Magnus looks super melancholy during story time).
As we move along throughout our planned 31 Days of Halloween fun we’ll share some updates on our tricks, treats, and reads. And check out our full Halloween booklist.
