Christmas Recap
It’s the sixth day of Christmas, are your geese a-laying or have you moved on? We like to keep the joy of Christmas going through Twelfth Night (or at least until work/school starts) and we’ve been having a ton of fun. We haven’t been doing a ton of posting though, so how about a massive catch-up post?
We spent Christmas day cooking up our feast, catching up with Aaron’s extended family and my extended family on my Mom’s side and then we got fancy for Christmas Eve dinner and had a little photoshoot. We used our DIY Christmas Crackers as our place-cards for our Christmas table
We donned another pair of matching Christmas jammies and read ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas and then tucked in before waking up early to open presents and play!
We captured some sweet shots for our Christmas Cards and sent them out to far-flung friends and family.
We finished our Countdown to Christmas with close to a month’s worth of eats, treats, and sweets in Christmas shapes, colors, and tastes. The best one IMO was our giant Christmas Cookie Board, though our Christmas morning cinnamon roll Rudolphs were a big hit with the kids.
And we also completed our December fun with our Elves Twinkle and Sparkle! Our boys especially loved finding them every morning and laughing at their hijinks.
This was our smallest Christmas, and the first I’ve ever spent without my parents. I worried it was going to be sad, but between hours of Zoom time and all of our over-the-top celebrations throughout the season, we had quite the joyful season and hope that you and yours did too despite the challenges of the year.
