Christmas Cookie and Pajama Party

We are still looking to bring the fun to our lonely Christmas season, so we decided to throw ourselves a little Christmas Cookie party complete with a festive balloon arch and matching family pajamas. We spent a whole day baking and then we donned our jammies, blew up the ballooned, dialed up the Christmas tunes and danced off a few of the calories we consumed by eating WAY too many cookies and generally had a blast.

I love how Magnus hams it up in front of the camera! A lot of our shots ended up blurry because we were dancing and goofing around, but I think they are too cute not to share.

The cookies & sweets we made for our big cookie board were:

Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Decorated Sugar Cookies (we actually bought a kit this year from a local baker so that we could skip straight to decorating which was 100% the right choice for us given how many overall batches we made)

Peppermint Bark

Puppy Chow

Chewy Ginger White Chocolate

We served up our cookie party on a big board from Pier 1, which I believe is discontinued but I highly recommend this one from the Reluctant Entertainer!

And we wore these matching family pajamas from Carters (though it looks like they might be sold out of the green color) and this was the balloon arch we constructed.

Here are a few behind the scenes on party setup.
