I shared a few weeks ago about our plans for outdoor halloween decorations in the post Halloween Comes to Our House but couldn’t seem to catch the right lighting to update you all on how our plans are playing out. Last night I got outside early enough to catch almost the right light, where it was possible to appreciate the light-up decor but not TOO dark, so I can finally share.

Unfortunately by the time I went to purchase my mums after our Fall Break Mini Getaway the big pretty ones were sold out everywhere I checked. So can we just all squint and envision a nice row of big fluffy mums at the edge of the porch? Thanks!

Charlie is especially smitten with our Halloween dogs, and he likes to watch us turn them on and off via our smart plug. We got this after a couple of nights of accidentally leaving them on all night, or remembering late and having to jump out of bed and run down and unplug them in our pajamas. Huge level up! I can control them from my phone on the same app I use for Alexa and our indoor smart plugs.

And while I hopped on here to show and tell how our outdoor Halloween decor has come together, here is a little peek at the indoor fun during our movie night of Happy Halloween Scooby Doo. Aren’t the bats fun! They are all over the internet this year, but I just couldn’t resist.
